O BMI Awards é uma organização americana e tem a função de representar mais de 300 mil escritores, compositores e editores, abrangendo todos os gêneros da música, com um repertório de mais de 6 milhões e meio de trabalhos musicais em todo mundo. Em uma cerimônia anual vários artistas são premiados por suas composições, tendo como critério principal seu número de execuções nas rádios e TV's. Dentre todos os premiados registrados na história do BMI está Shania Twain, que unindo todas as categorias em que já ganhou possui 41 certificados! Para aumentar ainda mais esta lista, esse ano na cerimônia de premiação que aconteceu dia 3 de outubro no Hotel Dorchester, em Londres, o BMI Europe Awards homenagiou as músicas mais executadas nos últimos anos nos EUA e Shania não ficou de fora. Ela levou pra casa mais três certificados: "You're Still The One" - mais de 6 milhões de execuções em rádios; "Whose Bed Have Boots Been Under?" - 3 milhões de execuções e Party For Two - Country Award, totalizando agora 44 prêmios. Lembrando que os certificados "Million-Air" são entregues as canções que alcançaram mais de 3 milhões de execuções nas rádios e TV's e são estes os certificados que as duas primeiras canções citadas receberam.

fico feliz de a sha ter ganho premios msm estamdo parada a tanto tempo, isso só confiorma q ela é um excelente cantora e compositora. espero q 2007 volte a ser o ano dela assim como foi seu maior auge - na minha opiniao- em 2003.

E Érica, anos anos podem se passar, mas o maior prêmio que Shania pôde ganhar, recebeu em 2001 e desde então, qualquer outro só faz almentar sua felicidade, e a de nós fãs, é claro.
